Team India has bounced back in style on their ongoing tour of Australia after a disastrous start. The way the Men in Blue started the tour with two heavy defeats in the ODIs, many had written off their chances in Australia. However, the Virat Kohli-led side has reacted in a stunning manner after those two defeats.

In fact, India have won all the three games (1 ODI, 2 T20Is) after losing the two ODIs. On Sunday, the visitors thrashed the hosts by six wickets in the second T20I to seal the three-match series with a match in hand. Chasing a big total of 195, India crossed the finishing line with two balls remaining and six wickets in hand.

Opener Shikhar Dhawan top-scored with 52 while captain Virat Kohli scored 40 to set up the platform for the chase. Cameos from Hardik Pandya (42 from 22) and Shreyas Iyer (12 from 5) then took India over the line. Pandya and Iyer shared an unbeaten stand of 46 runs off just 21 balls to take India home. In the final over, India needed 14 runs off Daniel Sams and Pandya hit two sixes to end the game in style.

Wasim Jaffer trolls Michael Vaughan:

Soon after the game ended, Wasim Jaffer took to Twitter to do what he has been doing in recent times – posting hilarious tweets to entertain his ever-growing followers on the social media platform. The former India batsman is fast becoming one of the most popular cricketers on Twitter thanks to his tweets.

And he posted a similar tweet on Sunday after India’s win. In his latest tweet, he took a hilarious dig at Michael Vaughan who had predicted that India might lose to Australia in all the formats on the ongoing tour. Michael Vaughan’s prediction had come after India’s loss in the first ODI.

“Early call … I think Australia will beat India this tour in all formats convincingly ..,” the former England captain had written.

However, it did not take long for Team India to leave Vaughan embarrassed and Wasim Jaffer rubbed more salt to his wounds with a hilarious meme, featuring Manoj Bajpayee from the movie “Gangs of Wasseypur”.
