Former India opener Wasim Jaffer is fast carving his own niche on social media with his hilarious tweets. Wasim Jaffer has developed a knack of associating any event in the game with popular memes and is fast becoming one of the most popular cricketers on Twitter.
During the IPL 2020 where he was plying his trade as Kings XI Punjab’s batting coach, his tweets were a huge hit among the fans and even though his side’s campaign in the tournament has come to an end, Wasim Jaffer has not stopped sharing the hilarious tweets.
He was at it again on Monday when BCCI announced that Virat Kohli would miss the last three Tests in Australia. The India skipper has decided to skip the games to be with his wife Anushka Sharma as the couple is expecting its first child in January.
The decision means India are set to play three of the four Border-Gavaskar Tests – in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane – without their batting talisman. Ajinkya Rahane, the designated vice-captain, who has previously captained against Australia and Afghanistan, is likely to lead the Test side in Kohli’s absence.

He shared a still of one of the the YouTuber’s famous videos wherein he says: “Paisa barbaad behe***d (Money wasted, behe***d),” perfectly summing up the situation of Cricket Australia.
