Cheteshwar Pujara is one lucky batsman in the ongoing semifinal Ranji Trophy 2018-19 contest against Karnataka. Pujara who is batting on 76 in the match has had the rub of the green on his side. The right-hander had another lucky escape when he got an outside edge which was taken by Karnataka wicketkeeper.
However, the standing umpire once again didn’t hear the nick and gave the decision in favour of the visitors. It was a clear edge as there was a huge sound when the ball had whizzed past the bat. The Karnataka veteran bowler Vinay Kumar was levied by the decision. In fact, Vinay Kumar asked the umpire to wear big glasses.

Pujara decided not to walk.
Subsequently, Vinay Kumar gave his piece of mind to Cheteshwar Pujara on the next ball. Kumar had few words to say to India’s number three Test batsman. Meanwhile, Pujara was booed when he came out to the crease. Pujara was even called cheater by the Bangalore crowd when he made his way into the crease.
In fact, Cheteshwar Pujara was lucky in the first innings as well. Pujara had got a big outside edge. However, the right-hander choosed not to walk in the first dig as well.

Abhimanyu Mithun was the unlucky bowler on that occasion and Karnataka skipper Manish Pandey was fuming with anger. On the other hand, defending Vidharbha has already sealed their place in the final of the Ranji Trophy 2018-19 after Umesh Yadav scalped 12 wickets in the semifinal contest.
On the other hand, Cheteshwar Pujara was the major difference between India and Australia. The talisman batsman scored 521 runs and faced 1258 balls in the four-match series on Down Under tour.
Pujara scored his runs at an average of 74 and batted at the top of his game. The right-hander will like to get Saurashtra over the line as he has put a good partnership with Sheldon Jackson.
