Watch - Fans Go Crazy As Sanju Samson Arrives In Kerala For The 2nd T20I

After a convincing victory in the first T20I, Team India will face West Indies in the second game of the series in Kerala on December 8 (Sunday). Meanwhile, the fans went crazy as their local boy Sanju Samson, who is a part of the squad, arrived in Thiruvananthapuram airport for the match. Notably, Samson came into the team in place of injured Shikhar Dhawan, who was ruled out of the T20I series.

Samson has been in the headlines for quite some time now. He first grabbed the eyeballs with his double hundred in the Vijay Hazare Trophy against Goa and compelled the selectors to draft him in the national squad. However, he didn’t get a game against Bangladesh and surprisingly was left out from the team against West Indies. With Rishabh Pant struggling, many have opined that Sanju Samson can be a good option for the future.

Fans go crazy seeing Sanju Samson in Kerala

But the management is still not convinced and is currently persuading with Pant. The fans from Kerala have always rallied behind their favourites. Twitter went berserk when Sanju Samson was left out of the squad, and they thrashed the management for being biased. While there are no chances that Samson might play but the fans went crazy when he came out of the lobby of the Thiruvananthapuram airport.

The wicket-keeper batsman will be desperate to make things count and be in the good books of the selectors if any opportunities come his way at any stage. So far, Samson has played only one T20 match in Zimbabwe in 2015.
