If there is one character in the Indian cricket team who looks seems a bit different as far as his character his concerned, then it has to Bhuvneshwar Kumar. Despite being a fast-bowler, the Uttar Pradesh star does not show the aggression that is typically associated with a pacer.

However, the cricketing fraternity witnessed an entirely different and perhaps never-seen-before facet of Bhuvneshwar’s attitude on Tuesday during the first T20I against England. The incident occurred right before the last ball of England’s innings when he pulled out of his delivery stride while bowling to David Willey.

In his last over, Bhuvneshwar was taken to cleaners by Willey. The England allrounder had hit the India pacer for two fours and a six. And the way the last over panned out, it was quite clear that Bhuvneshwar was feeling the pressure.  Although he didn’t concede any boundary in the final over, he bowled two wides. And he finally lost his cool just before the end of the innings.

He pulled out in his delivery and then walked up aggressively towards Willey who had a thing or two to say. Bhuvneshwar also did not stop himself as he gave Willey a piece of his mind.

Here is a clip showing the incident:

Kuldeep Yadav was the star of the show, taking his career-best 5 for 24 including three in an over. Jos Buttler waged a lone battle for the hosts, scoring 69.

In reply, India romped home with 10 balls to spare. The visitors were off to a poor start. Shikhar Dhawan departed in the very first over. However, Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul added 123 runs for the second wicket to all but end England’s hopes. Rahul went on to complete his ton off 53 balls.
