A few years ago who would have thought that Harbhajan Singh would chill out with an Australia. One of the feistiest characters on the cricket field, the Sardar gave the Aussies a time time on the field both with his off-spin as well as his aggression. Well, the unthinkable has been turned into reality thanks to Indian Premier League.

In its 11 years of existence so far, the league has given the game a new dimension by bringing together players from different countries. Harbhajan has shared the dressing rooms with the likes of Ricky Ponting, Andrew Symonds and several other Aussies only because of the IPL.

In the just-concluded season of the IPL too, Harbhajan shared the dressing room with another Australian – Shane Watson – and it is safe to say that the Turbanator has developed a very cordial relation with the allrounder. During the course of the season, Harbhajan posted several photos of himself and Watson on social media which pretty much showed the close friendship between the duo.

And the fact that they enjoy each other’s company became crystal clear when Watson was seen having a great time with Harbhajan on the latter’s newly-launched web show ‘Bhajji Blasts’ Harbhajan had launched the show during the IPL and invited several of his Chennai Super Kings teammates for a candid chat.

And it is safe to say that the episode featuring Watson was one of the best. The duo talked on each other’s careers and several other topics before Harbhajan popped up an interesting question.

“Did you spend a lot of time with Afridi, lately?” asked Harbhajan.

From thereon, the conversation kept on getting hilarious as Watson commented:” He’s been like 36 for like 7 years. That’s a great effort.”

Harbhajan then went on to take a dig on his India teammate and good friend Yuvraj Singh’s age.

“Me and Yuvraj, we played together U-14, U-16 than U-19. I got overage and Yuvraj still continued to play,” said the spinner.
