Hardik Pandya just knows how to surprise MS Dhoni on his birthday. The allrounder had given MS Dhoni a special haircut on his birthday a couple of years ago and has surprised the latter once again.
The former India skipper turned 39 on Tuesday and as expected, the cricket fraternity has flooded him with thousands of birthday messages. Fans and cricketers have been wishing him since midnight. Well, Hardik Pandya has perhaps come up with the best gesture for the wicketkeeper-batsman on his special day.
Despite the pandemic, he along with his brother and India allrounder Krunal Pandya traveled to Ranchi to attend MS Dhoni’s birthday. Hardik Pandya’s fiancee Natasa Stankovic was also with him. They were greeted by a number of fans at the airport before the trio headed towards MS Dhoni’s house.

Meanwhile, both Hardik Pandya as well as Dhoni have not played for India for quite some time now. Dhoni last played a competitive game in July last year during the World Cup semifinal and took a sabbatical after that. His sabbatical would have ended in this year’s IPL but the tournament has been suspended indefinitely due to the pandemic.
On the other hand, Hardik Pandya last played for India during the T20I series against South Africa at home last year. He was then ruled out of action due to a back injury and had a surgery for the same. The allrounder was named in the India squad for the ODI series against the same team in March but the series was postponed in the wake of the coronavirus outbreak.
