Kieron Pollard did not get the chance to bat in the first innings for Mumbai Indians as they posted a giant total of 193/4 in their 20 overs without the Caribbean giant taking to the crease. Rajasthan Royals lost a lot of wickets in the first powerplay as they came out to chase a high total and were in all sorts of trouble. However, their only hope, Jos Buttler, was still on the crease and had smashed a half-century.

With Jos Buttler, smashing the ball out of the park, it always needed a very special effort from someone in the Mumbai Indians squad to get rid of the English wicketkeeper. At that moment, Kieron Pollard stepped up and took an absolute blinder of a catch on the long-on boundary to send back Buttler and end all the hopes of Rajasthan Royals coming back into the game.

Rajasthan Royals lost the game after a good team effort from Mumbai as this will be their third consecutive loss in the tournament after having started it on a high.
