In the ongoing 1st T20Is between India and Windies, Manish Pandey and KL Rahul helped Indian team to dismiss Shai Hope.
Earlier in the day, Indian skipper Rohit Sharma won the toss and elected to bowl first. KL Rahul was added to the team, and Krunal Pandya made his international debut.
Indian pacer Umesh Yadav made the early breakthrough. It was the first ball of the third over. A tentative poke to a delivery that shaped away late drew Ramdin into playing at that – well away from his body, no conviction behind the poke and all he managed to do was to get a healthy edge. Dinesh Karthik does the rest and celebrations start in the Indian camp.

After that, Khaleel Ahmed bowled his first delivery in the fourth over. Khaleel Ahmed bowled to Shai Hope. It was a disappointing end to what was turning out to be a nice little start. Rahul nearly made a mess of a simple throw, thankfully for him and India. It was a back of a length delivery that was tucked straight to mid-wicket and Hope set-off for a quick single. Hetmyer responded before turning his back on his partner; it was then a one-way race towards the same end by both batsmen. Eventually, Hetmyer was the first who plonked his bat inside the crease.
KL Rahul had all the time in the world to throw it at the striker’s end. Instead, he lobbed it well over DK’s head who slipped as he jumped. Manish was backing up from a point, collects the ball, runs at the stumps and breaks it.

India started pretty well as they rattled the top order in quick times. Windies lost their first three wickets within the powerplay. The bowlers along with the fielders are doing their job to finish off things in a great note.
