Pakistan skipper Sarfaraz Ahmed recently came across a man who abused him in public while he was with his son. The video went viral as soon as if surfaced on social media. It was a disgraceful behaviour from the Pakistani fan as he crossed the line while expressing his displeasure over Sarfaraz’s poor fitness.

Sarfaraz Ahmed has been facing criticism since the defeat against India in Manchester. What has further made things worse for the wicketkeeper-batsman is his poor fitness. Pakistani fans have been relentlessly taking shots at their captain but in the latest incident, the man just crossed the limit. As soon as the video went viral, fans across the world came out in support of Sarfaraz Ahmed and slammed the man for his distasteful comments.

And after facing huge criticism, the man has issued an apology for his disgraceful behaviour. In the vide, he regretted his behaviour before saying he had no intention to share the video on social media as he had deleted the clip.  The man said that he repents upon his action that really hurt him.

Here is the clip showing the man apologising for abusing Sarfaraz Ahmed:

Talking about that game, Pakistan had lost it by 89 runs. Asked to bat first, India piled up a mammoth total of 336 for 5. Rohit Sharma starred with the bat, scoring 140 while KL Rahul and Virat Kohli scored 57 and 77 respectively.

In reply, Pakistan failed to provide any sort of challenge to their formidable opponents. Barring the 104-run stand between Fakhar Zaman and Babar Azam, they never really looked in contention to chase down the total. They eventually finished on 212 for 6 in 40 overs, thus losing the game by 89 runs (DLS method).

Pakistan are currently languishing in ninth place in the world cup points table. With just three points from first five games, they now need to win all of their remaining games to have any chance of progressing ahead.
