Watch: Marnus Labuschagne Pulls Off An Impressive Run Out Despite Losing His Pants

Star Australia all-rounder Marnus Labuschagne has been in the headlines for quite some time now. After a significant Ashes series in England, Labuschagne was back in Australia for the Marsh Cup where he affected an outstanding run-out.

During a match between Queensland and Victoria in the ongoing Marsh Cup, Marnus Labuschagne produced a moment of brilliance to get the better of Chriss Tremain in the 29th over. Labuschagne, who was fielding at the covers dived to his right in an attempt to save a single.

In the process, the all-rounder lost his pant but didn’t get diverted from his target. He quickly released the ball to the batting end to get Tremain out and bring Queensland back in the game. Cricket Australia (CA) came up with a hilarious caption to share the video from their official Instagram account.

“No pants, no worries for @marnus3 with this cheeky #MarshCup run-out,” they captioned the video.

Meanwhile, Queensland had posted a mammoth 322 for nine on the board with their skipper Usman Khawaja scoring 138 off 126 balls. Marnus Labuschagne scored a crucial 38 runs in the match before restricting Victoria to 168 runs to script an easy victory.

Meanwhile, Marnus Labuschagne showed commitment after he came as a concussion substitute of Steve Smith during the second Test. Since then, he has scored runs consistently and finished as one of Australia’s highest run-scorer in the series.

Labuschagne finished with 353 runs from nine innings including five half-centuries. He will be a crucial customer during Australia’s next series against Pakistan which kicks off from November 21 in Brisbane.
