Watch: Mayanti Langer Interviews Husband Stuart Binny On Wedding Anniversary

While the star power in the ongoing Karnataka Premier League is definitely not as much as the fans were expecting due to absence of big names like Manish Pandey, KL Rahul and Karun Nair but there is absolutely no denying the fact that the matches have lived up to the expectations. Not only that there are also some prominent names in the commentary box with the likes of Dean Jones, Brett Lee plying their trades with the microphone.

The fans also saw Indian women team’s star Veda Krishnamurthy on Friday (September 8) during the match between Belagavi Panther and Bengaluru Blasters. The star batswoman is the Brand Ambassador of Belagavi Panther.

But the most memorable moment of the day was witnessed after the match concluded and one of the most talked about couples of cricketing circle came face to face. It happened after India and Royal Challengers Bangalore star Stuart Binny slammed 87 off just 46 balls including 8 fours and 5 sixes against the Blasters and was then interviewed by his wife and cricket anchor Mayanti Langer. In fact, the interview was even more memorable for the couple as it was their marriage anniversary.

Meanwhile, Binny is currently trying to win back his place in the Indian team. The allrounder, who made his Test debut in 2014 and played his first ODI and T20I a year later,  and has played 6 Tests, 14 ODIs and 3 T20Is so far, scoring 459 runs overall in addition to picking up 24 wickets. He was included in the Test squad for the West Indies tour last year but did not play a single game. His last international appearance came in 2016 during the T20I against West Indies in Lauderhill.
