The 32-year-old England National Cricket Team opening batsman Jason Roy failed miserably in his comeback game against Australia National Cricket Team as star left-arm pacer Mitchell Starc bamboozled him with a terrific inswinger.
The first One Day International (ODI) game of the three-match series between Jos Buttler-led England National Cricket Team and Pat Cummins-led Australia National Cricket Team is being played at the Adelaide Oval on Thursday, November 17.

Jason Roy, who last played for England in July this year in the series against South Africa National Cricket Team, was dropped from England’s World Cup squad due to his poor run of form.
The 32-year-old made a comeback into the side in the first ODI of the England tour of Australia 2022 and he was able to score only 6 runs off 11 balls, before being castled by pace spearhead Starc.

On the second delivery of the 5th over, Starc pitched the ball on a good length on off and it shaped back in sharply. The England opening batsman was unsure whether to go forward or stay back and he played with hard hands. And the ball sneaked past the inside edge and went on to shatter the stumps.

On the other hand, the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022 champions England National Cricket Team handed the ODI debut cap to the left-arm seamer Luke Wood.
