The same was on show on Monday when Chennai Super Kings were taking on Delhi Daredevils. During the 15th over of the innings, Dhoni did something which can be expected only from him. Avesh Khan bowled one which hit Dhoni on the pads and the ball fell just in front of him. Sensing an opportunity, the ever-ready Dhoni set off for a single. In the meantime, Avesh went to collect the ball and fancied a chance at the non-striker’s end. However, Dhoni as usual was too quick and his cause was also helped by the bowler’s wayward throw. But amidst all this, Dhoni displayed his brilliant game awareness. While running towards the danger end, Dhoni was seen covering his back with one of his hands.
