The last 24 hours have been totally amazing for Manish Pandey. Last night, he led Karnataka to a historic back-to-back titles in Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy with a thrilling one-run win over arch-rivals Tamil Nadu in Surat. Manish Pandey led from the very front, scoring an unbeaten 60 off 45 deliveries and took Karnataka to 180/5.

He then marshalled his troop really well to make sure Tamil Nadu do not cross the finishing line. Tamil Nadu eventually finished on 179 as they failed to score three runs off the last ball. With 13 runs needed from the last six balls, it looked like Tamil Nadu would cross the line when Ravichandran Ashwin hit the first two balls for fours. However, Krishnappa Gowtham did well on the remaining four deliveries to help his team defend the title.

Surat to Mumbai for wedding:

As soon as the match ended in Surat, Manish Pandey had to head towards Mumbai in order to get ready for his wedding to Ashrita Shetty.  Ashrita is a well-known face in the South industry. The 26-year-old has featured in hit films like Indrajith, Oru Kanniyum Moonu Kalavaanikalum, Udhayam NH4.

Cricketers and film celebrities tying the knot is nothing new in India. Sharmila Tagore and Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi, Sangeeta Bijlani and Mohammad Azharuddin, Geeta Basra and Harbhajan Singh and most recently Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli are some of the high-profile cricket-film couples.

As Pandey gets ready to enjoy another beautiful chapter of his life, here we are taking a look at some of the pictures from his wedding.
