India cricketers Rohit Sharma and fast-bowler Jasprit Bumrah joined forces to troll teammate Yuzvendra Chahal on Wednesday. With no international or domestic cricket going on due to coronavirus pandemic, former and current cricket stars are keeping themselves busy by engaging with fans on social media.
And so Bumrah joined Rohit Sharma for an Instagram live chat session. Previously, Rohit Sharma had live sessions with Chahal as well as England legend Kevin Pietersen. Bumrah and Rohit Sharma spoke about wide range of topics and also used the opportunity to have some fun at the expense of Chahal.
As usual, the two talked about Chahal’s batting skills to have some fun. Ever since hitting that straight drive in England for a four in 2018, Chahal has been making sure that the spotlight remains on his batting. And his India teammates made sure to pull his legs while interacting with each other.
Bumrah started off by saying: “If we face off against RCB in a match, I want to bowl against Chahal. I’ve told him I need to bat above him in the batting order. The day he hits a six, I will go below him.”
Rohit Sharma completely agreed with his IPL teammate, saying: “Even I feel you (Bumrah) should save an over and bowl against him (Chahal). Ever since he hit a straight drive in England, he has become a bit overconfident. We should tell him that he hasn’t hit a six in international cricket yet while you have hit a six against the No. 1 bowler in the world (Australia’s Pat Cummins).”
Here is a snippet from that live session where Rohit Sharma and Bumrah could be seen talking about Chahal:

All the three players would have been playing in the IPL right now but are currently sitting at home like everyone else because of the pandemic. The thirteenth edition of the league was set to start on March 29 before the BCCI suspended it till April 15.
