Watch: Shahid Afridi Hits Huge Six In Afghanistan Premier League Game
Shahid Afridi finally showed the glimpse of the batsman that made him one of the most feared batsmen in the world. The former Pakistan skipper was having a forgettable outing for Paktia Panthers in the Afghanistan Premier League.
However, on Thursday, the hard-hitting allrounder looked in his elements as he slammed 30 not out off just 19 balls to guide his side to a thumping win over Kabul Zwanan. The unbeaten knock contained three fours and a six. And the six was the trademark Afridi six as it travelled quite a distance.
Muslim Musa bowled a high full toss on leg and Afridi made him pay big time. The star allrounder swung hard and deposited the ball well over the fine leg fence for a maximum as the crowd gave a huge roar.
Here is a clip of that huge six from Shahid Afridi:

Shahid Afridi, meanwhile, will be hoping that his latest knock helps him regain his best form. Prior to the latest knock, he had scored 1,19, 1* and 0 in four innings. With the duck in his last outing with the bat, he had become the first cricketer ever to record ducks in all the T20 tournaments in the country including the World Cup and Indian Premier League, where he had participated in the inaugural edition of the league.
Coming to the game, Paktia Panthers beat Kabul Zwanan by six wickets to register their fifth win in eight games. Batting first Kabul Zwanan scored 168 for 4 in the allotted 20 overs. Skipper Colin Ingram led from the front, scoring 83 off just 51 balls. In reply, Paktia Panthers chased down the total in 19.4 overs.
