Watch: Shivam Dube Shuts Down Kieron Pollard By Hitting Him For Huge Six

Shivam Dube looks like the next big thing in Indian cricket and the way he is playing in the ongoing second T20I against West Indies, he already looks at ease in international cricket. The Mumbai allrounder made his debut during the series against Bangladesh last month and was lucky to be retained in the squad for the ongoing series.
The left-handed batsman could not make any big impression with the bat but did make a mark with the ball. And with Hardik Pandya sidelined with an injury, India decided to retain him in the squad. He also maintained his spot in the playing eleven for the series-opener although he did not get much chance to do anything with the bat and ball.
However, in the ongoing game, he was promoted to bat at number three and the youngster has made the most of it. After KL Rahul was out cheaply, Dube walked in to bat and did not take long to start playing the big shots. He started showing his wide array of shots straightaway and took a special liking for Kieron Pollard.

In the ninth over of the match, he hit the West Indies captain for three huge sixes all around the park. And during the same over, he also made it clear that he does not lack any aggression just like most of his teammates. Dube gave it back to Pollard after the latter seemingly tried to stop him from taking a double. The incident took place on the second ball of the over when Dube took a double.
As Dube was about to complete the first run, Pollard came in his way. Dube somehow managed to complete a double before expressing his displeasure. Pollard, on the other hand, was angry with Dube for reason known only to him. And Dube then added more salt to Pollard’s wounds by hitting the next ball for a huge six. The allrounder bowled a short delivery and Dube was up to the task, pulling it for a huge six.
Here is a clip showing that incident:
