Former Pakistan fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar has been quite active on social media these days. Ever since calling time on his cricketing career, Akhtar continues to analyse matches on his popular YouTube channel. He also makes sure to praise the good performers in his in-depth analysis of games which are being praised by fans from all around.

The Rawalpindi express had recently launched a scathing attack on Pakistan’s overall performance in their recent tour of Australia where the Men in Green suffered humiliation in the form of clean-sweeps in the T20I and Test series against the hosts. Pakistan will be looking forward to getting back to winning ways when they host Sri Lanka in a 2-match home Test series starting on December 11.

Coming to Akhtar, he recently exchanged some words with Pakistan actor Ali Zafar after the latter’s challenge to the former Pakistani cricketer. It all started when Zafar had a friendly confrontation against Akhtar by calling him on the Twitter platform and challenging him for a cricket battle. Akhtar and Zafar, after a string of tweets on Twitter, finally went one on one against each other in a cracking battle.

In a previous post, Zafar was seen bowling a deadly bouncer to Shoaib Akhtar to which the latter deftly ducked and somehow got rid of the blow to his head. While the actor managed to win round one of pure action, the Rawalpindi Express bounced back by bowling quick.

In a recent video posted by Shoaib Akhtar on Thursday (December 5), the former fast bowler is seen delivering a pin-point toe-crushing yorker to Zafar and in the process, he made a complete mess of his stumps. According to the video, Zafar can be seen throwing away his bat in frustration as Akhtar performs his usual celebration.

“Ye wo yorker hai jis se baray baray burj ultay hain jani @AliZafarsays. My fans can tag all those ‘burj’ and tell you,” Akhtar captioned the video on micro-blogging Twitter platform.

Previously, Zafar posted a cheeky caption for the video clip in which he is seen bowling a speedy bouncer to Shoaib Akhtar. “Was born ready. Ball touch kerne ki baat ki thee sir aapne. That may have been slightly over 172 mph. @shoaib100mph,” Zafar tweeted.
