Bangladesh’s senior players are infamous for their classless celebration and send-offs and it looks like their next crop of players are not going to be different either. In recent past, the Bangladesh players have faced the heat for giving the opposition batsmen needless send-offs. Who can forget their infamous ‘Naagin dance’ celebration which invited criticism from all around.

Well, Bangladesh’ U19 cricketers are looking set to go on the same path. In the ongoing final of the ICC U19 World Cup against India, the Bangladesh players looked pumped up right from the start. But the players could not maintain the fine line between excitement and being classy.

Right from the word go, they tried to get under the skin of the Indian players as they tried desperately to gain advantage in the all-important clash. And they did not even spare Yashasvi Jaiswal as they gave the most successful batsman of the tournament a send-off.

While India’s innings was falling apart, Yashasvi Jaiswal tried his best to keep the innings together. Fresh off the stunning match-winning century against Pakistan in the semifinal, Yashasvi Jaiswal led India’s charge with the bat once again and missed a well-deserved century by just 12 runs.

Shoriful Islam was the one who send the left-handed batsman back to the pavilion. The India opener went for a pull shot off a short delivery but hit the short straight to Tanzid Hassan at mid-wicket. And as soon as it happened, Shoriful Islam decided to give Yashasvi Jaiswal a send off.

He taps his thighs, probably indicating Jaiswal that he’s got him in his pocket before putting his finger on the lips.

Meanwhile, Bangladesh came up with a fine bowling display to bowl out India for just 177. Bangladesh are eyeing their first ever U19 World Cup while India are looking to win it for the fifth time and second time in a row.
