Chennai Super Kings skipper MS Dhoni, on Friday, once again showed that age is just a number and he still has a lot to offer by taking an absolute stunner behind the stumps to dismiss his Delhi Capitals counterpart Shreyas Iyer in the seventh match of IPL 2020.

On the final ball of the 19th over, Iyer decided to play a big shot off Sam Curran. It was a short delivery outside off from the England star and it deserved to be hit. However, Iyer failed to connect well with the ball and could only manage an edge behind the stumps.

But it still looked like he would get away with it as the ball was well out of MS Dhoni’s reach. However, the CSK skipper had some other plans. The 39-year old made a full length dive towards his right to complete a spectacular catch. Iyer was dismissed for 26 off 22 balls.

As far as the game is concerned, Delhi Capitals finished the innings on a challenging total of 175 for 3. Opening batsman Prithvi Shaw starred with the bat, scoring 64 off 43 balls and added 94 runs with Shikhar Dhawan for the first wicket to lay the foundation for a big score.

At one stage, it looked like Delhi Capitals would cross the 200-run mark but CSK bowlers did well to keep them under 180. Sam Curran once again impressed as he conceded just 27 off four overs and picked up one wicket. Ravindra Jadeja had an off day as the spinner went for 44 runs without taking any wicket.
