India’s fast bowler Irfan Pathan welcome the new entrant Jasprit Bumrah into the hat-trick club. Bumrah became the third Indian bowler to take a hat-trick in the Test fold after Irfan Pathan and Harbhajan Singh. The gun fast bowler was able to get the wickets of Darren Bravo, Shamarh Brooks and Roston Chase in his hat-trick.

Shamarh Brooks and Roston Chase were plumbed in front of the wickets whereas Darren Bravo was caught behind by KL Rahul. It was a brilliant spell of bowling from Jasprit Bumrah as he breathed down the neck of the hosts’ batsmen.

Bumrah was at his best.

In fact, the West Indies’ batsmen had no answers to the difficult questions which were asked by the talismanic pacer. Bumrah was able to hit the right areas and thus he was rewarded for his immaculate line and length.

This was Bumrah’s fifth five-wicket haul and he is only playing his 12th Test match. Thus, the right-arm pacer has taken massive strides. Furthermore, he was able to complete his five-wicket haul in 35 deliveries.

The off-spinner had got a crucial hat-trick in the famous Kolkata Test match against Australia. Meanwhile, Irfan Pathan was able to take his hat-trick in the Karachi Test match in 2006 against arch-rivals Pakistan.

Irfan Pathan took to his Twitter handle to welcome Jasprit Bumrah in the elite list. The post read as, “Welcome to the #Hattrick club @Jaspritbumrah93”.

Harbhajan Singh also welcomed his former Mumbai Indians teammate in the hat-trick club. Bhajji wrote, “Sensational @Jaspritbumrah93. well done on your great spell.. welcome in the hattrick club ????❤️ so so so proud of you. Keep it going brother”.
