Windies Skipper Jason Holder Reveals his Favourite Indian Cricketer

Perhaps, Jason Holder will be remembered as one of the best servants of Windies Cricket across the formats. Though Windies players are making their career in franchise cricket, Jason Holder stuck to serve his country in the international circuit. Meanwhile, he picks VVS Laxman as his favourite Indian cricketer.
In a recent question and answer chat on Instagram, the flamboyant cricketer was asked to answer his favourite cricketer in Indian cricket. Holder, in reply, revealed saying “VVS Laxman” as his favourite cricketer from India.

The flamboyant cricketer has delivered the goods exceptionally in both the sections of the game. He has been consistent with his willow and always been the wrecker-in-chief in bowling department of the game.

He also led the team from the front despite facing a lot of troubles with the politics within the board. Though few of the key players failed to make into the international side, he led the team with young faces and did well to qualify for the upcoming 2019 World Cup.

Coming to his recent tour to India, the flamboyant cricketer had picked up five-wicket haul on his return from injury in Hyderabad Test. Further, he led Windies to a stunning victory in the Pune ODI as well to send fear down India’s spine.

The return to white-ball format hasn’t been great, as Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma knocked them out with their brilliance. However, Shai Hope and Hetmyer inspired Windies to draw in Vizag ODI, and the confidence helped them to win Pune ODI.

All in all, it has been great last few years for the youngster. Though he hasn’t got enough hype because of Windies’ poor run, on the personal front, Jason Holder has been top-class.
