India’s new young sensation, Yashasvi Jaiswal has grabbed the headlines again. After having a stellar Under-19 World Cup campaign, Jaiswal has scored another giant century for Mumbai in the U-23 CK Nayudu Trophy.
Yashasvi had a memorable U19 World Cup campaign recently in South Africa. He was adjudged the Player of the Tournament for scoring four half-centuries and a century in the competition.
Although, his valiant efforts were not just enough for India to cross the finishing line as they were beaten by Bangladesh in the final by three wickets. Bangladesh won their first-ever U19 World Cup denying India the opportunity to win it for the fifth time.

However, the great find for India in the tournament was a couple of very good promising talents who have the potential of representing the senior national side if they continue to impress with consistency.
Jaiswal is one such figure who has grown from strength to strength as each game passed.

His impressive form helped him bag a hefty deal in the 2020 IPL Auction where the Rajasthan Royals bought (RR) him for INR 2.4 crore, for the 13th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) that starts from March 29.
He will be sharing the dressing room with the likes of legends o the game including Steven Smith, Ben Stokes, Jos Buttler, and many more in his maiden appearance in the competition.
Jaiswal has all the qualities of being in the senior national side and if he continues the great form he is in, he will soon be another Indian cricketer who will shine on the global stage.
