When it comes to winning the World Cup, Yuvraj Singh definitely knows a thing or two about it. The former India batsman was the Man of the Tournament when India won the historic World Cup in 2011. India are now eyeing to win their third World Cup but need to play out of their skin in their ongoing semifinal against New Zealand to make it to the final.

Chasing 240, India are in all sorts of trouble.  Matt Henry drew the first blood by accounting for the in-form Rohit Sharma in his very first over. Rohit Sharma, who had scored three consecutive tons before this game, was out for just 1 after edging a brilliant delivery from Henry behind the stumps. And even before India could recover from the huge setback, Boult dealt a huge blow to India by dismissing Virat Kohli.

And as if those twin blows were not enough, Henry accounted for KL Rahul to leave India reeling at 5 for 3 in the 4th over. India now need to play out of their skin to beat New Zealand and make it to the final. At the time of writing this report, India landed in further trouble with Dinesh Karthik departing too. India were 24 for 4 after ten overs.

Hardik Pandya and Rishabh Pant added 47 runs before departing in quick succession to leave India 6 down for 92. All eyes are on MS Dhoni now and Yuvraj Singh also knows that his former teammate need to fire if India are to win the match. Yuvraj Singh took to Twitter to advice that the batsmen need to rotate strike to reduce the pressure. He also hoped that Dhoni would take India through, writing:

“Under pressure middle order needs to learn how to take singles and at the moment we are struggling to do that. This is why experience plays an important role, hopefully mahi can take us through .”
