Indian limited-overs leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal is one of the most entertaining cricketers today, poking fun through his antics over social media. Ahead of the 2020 IPL edition, the leggie trolled Royal Challengers Bangalore director of operations, Mike Hesson.

Yuzvendra Chahal, who will lead the RCB’s spin-bowling department in the upcoming season of IPL in the UAE, took a comical jibe at Mike Hesson. He did so since the former New Zealand coach denied him the opening position at the batting line-up. Virat Kohli-led side finished at the last spot in the previous season and is expected to overhaul the opening combination, indicating that Devdutt Padikkal will take one of the places.
Chahal took to his official Instagram account, uploading a photo of him locking Hesson in ‘Full Nelson’ during their net session. The 29-year old joined the franchise in 2014 and faced only 48 balls so far in IPL. He has scored 21 runs in 84 matches, having the highest score of 4* without striking a boundary. However, Chahal is their highest wicket-taker, with 100 scalps to his name.
Below is Yuzvendra Chahal’s post:
The likes of Washington Sundar, Adam Zampa, Moeen Ali and Pawan Negi will partner Chahal in the spin-bowling department. The franchise retained Virat Kohli as their captain despite a poor last season; however, revamped their coaching staff and bought players like Chris Morris, Isuru Udana, and Dale Steyn to solve their death-bowling woes. RCB will open their campaign against the David Warner-led Sunrisers Hyderabad on the 21st of September.
