Imran Khan is one of the greatest all-rounders of all time and also one of the best players to have played from his nation. Imran Khan captained the Pakistan team to victory in the 1992 Worldcup which was the last international appearance for him against England.

Imran Khan top-scored for Pakistan in the final coming in at three with a well-made 72 and took his team to a fighting score of 249 for the loss of 6 wickets. He also bowled 6.2 overs conceding 43 runs and took the final wicket of Richard Illingworth which sealed the trophy for Pakistan.

Glenn Mcgrath is one of the greatest fast bowlers of all time and he had a huge role to play in the Australian era that dominated the world in the 2000s. He was always on the mark by hitting the tough lengths for the batsman and used his height to his advantage to get that extra bounce.

Mcgrath played his last international game for the Aussies in the 2007 World Cup win against Sri Lanka and he bowled seven overs in the game picking up one wicket of Russell Arnold and gave away just 31 runs. His seam movement trapped even a lot of the best batsmen in the world.

Michael Clarke:

Michael Clarke finished his international career by taking his country to an ICC WorldCup win in 2015 against New Zealand. The elegant right-hander could never recover from his teammate Philip Hughes’s death in the cricket field after being hit by a bouncer in a domestic game and decided to part ways with the game after the big event.

In a low-scoring chase in the final, the skipper Michael Clarke formed an excellent partnership alongside Steve Smith for the third wicket, and Clarke top-scored with 74 runs off 72 balls. Clarke had an excellent record as a captain as well as a batsman for the Aussies.

BJ Watling:

The New Zealand wicketkeeper-batsman is the latest addition to the list with him winning the ICC World Test Championship title in the final against India. Watling had announced that this game would be the last international match for him and it had certainly been a wonderful journey for him.

Watling holds the record for the most number of dismissals by a New Zealand wicketkeeper in tests and he was always a proper batsman who had an excellent technique. Watling was dismissed for just one run by a terrific delivery from Mohammad Shami in the first innings, and he did not bat in the second innings.
