There has always been a Twitter war going on between the Indian players and the Pakistan cricketers and social media always gets heated up when these trolls start to get underway. Both countries have shared a lot of exchanges in the field and this has continued in social media too.

There are instances when the Indian players have pulled the legs of the Pakistan cricketers and have stated a lot of hilarious tweets which are in no way done with any harm or intent. Gautam Gambhir Trolls Shahid Afridi For His Autobiography comments :

Gambhir has often been associated with a  lot of controversies and there is no better example than the incidents in 2007 between Afridi and Gambhir to show the friendship between these two cricketers. It started off with Afridi mentioning Gambhir in his autobiography that read,

“(Gautam Gambhir) and his attitude problem. He has no personality. He, who is barely a character in the great scheme of cricket. He, who has no great records, just a lot of attitude. He, who behaves like he is a cross between Don Bradman and James Bond.” Afridi mentioned.

It did not go well with Gambhir certainly and he trolled Afridi for coming out of retirement often and also about the performances in the 2007 T20 Worldcup final.

Virender Sehwag Pulls Saqlain Mushtaq’s Legs:

In 2016, on the eve of Pakistan spinner Saqlain Mushtaq’s birthday, Virender Sehwag posted a video that saw the Indian destructive opener hitting Mushtaq for a big six to become the first Indian player to score a triple century in tests.

Sehwag tweeted “A very happy birthday dear @Saqlain_Mushtaq. Stay blessed and Thank you for the memories. Enjoying watching this in loop.” hilariously trolling Saqlain Mushtaq.

Ravichandran Ashwin Outclassing A Pakistani Reporter:

Ravichandran Ashwin has outclassed a lot of batsmen with his mystery spin but he is really good with trolling and he did take on a Pakistani reporter on Twitter to show his love for India. The reporter mocked India’s Paralympics performances of winning just four medals and Ashwin gave back the best from his side.

A Pakistani named Affan “@mufc_affanf9” tweeted, “1.2 billion population and just 4 medals. LOL” to troll the performance of India. Ashwin tweeted back in response with “(R)anked as high as no 6 in the population chart, I wish you to go for the second medal. All the best brothers and sisters.” and there was a series of tweets going on after that.

Virender Sehwag Trolls Shoaib Akthar For Posting A Photo:

Virender Sehwag and Shoaib Akthar have shared a lot of interesting conversations in the Commentary box together and the two have always pulled each other leg’s on Twitter. This was one of those incidents when the former Indian opener had a hilarious reply for Akthar’s photo post on Twitter with his legendary teammates.

“Dream team .. Full of talent and characters ..1 of the best Pak team I ever played with” Shoaib Akthar captained underneath the picture and Sehwag replied, “Very good team Shoaib Bhai, many legends, but still couldn’t beat India in any World Cup. Still searching for Mauka”. It certainly allowed Twitter to go splits and Sehwag showed India’s dominance over Pakistan in the World cup.

Virender Sehwag Trolls Pakistan U-19 Team:

Virender Sehwag trolled the Pakistan U-19 team hilariously for losing again to the Indian U-19 team and this has been one of the trends for a long time. Pakistan hasn’t won a Worldcup game so far against India along with the senior teams and the streak has gone to 12 games.

Sehwag tweeted with the picture of India u-19 winning against Pakistan U-19  “Ab toh Aadat si hai” (We have the habit of doing this now). It certainly created havoc in social media and Sehwag has made it a habit of trolling the Pakistan players.
