The England women's cricket team represents England and Wales in women's international cricket. They were first governed by Women's Cricket Association before England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) started governing them from 1998. England is a full member of the ICC and has Test, ODI and T20I status.

Their current captain is Nat Sciver-Brunt while their current head coach is Charlotte Edwards. One of the most decorated sides in women's cricket, the England women's cricket team played against Australia in the first-ever Test in 1934.

Their record in ODIs is highly impressive. They played their first ODI against an International XI in 1973. England have won the Women's cricket World Cup four times.

They won the inaugural edition on their home soil in 1973 before winning the biggest prize in women's cricket three more times in 1993, 2009 and 2017. The triumph in 2017 also earned them the prestigious BBC Sports Team of the Year Award.

The England women's cricket team has also finished runners-up four times in the ODI World Cup - 1978, 1982, 1988 and 2022.

England also played in the first ever T20I in 2005, against New Zealand. Four years later, they won the inaugural edition of the Women's T20 World Cup in 2009. They have finished runners-up in the competition three times - 2012, 2014 and 2018.
