ICC World Cup 2023 Star-Studded Commentary Panel Revealed

ICC World Cup 2023’s commentary panel will include a host of former cricketers and commentators who will add their valuable expertise and insights into the game to help us understand the game better.

The tournament will be played from October 5-November 19 in India. Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi stadium will host the campaign opener and the final. The venue has a seating capacity of over 120000 spectators and is the largest stadium in the world.

Former captains Ricky Ponting and Eoin Morgan will be a part of ICC. TV’s coverage will done in three phases, a pre-match show, an innings interval program and a post-match wrap-up. The former captains will be a part of all those coverages.

A host of other former captains are a part of the ICC World Cup commentary team as well. Ramiz Raja, Ravi Shastri, Aaron Finch, and Sunil Gavaskar will lead the lineup that has names like Shane Watson, Lisa Sthalekar, and Matthew Hayden who are all former World Cup winners.

ICC World Cup 2023 Commentary Panel Includes Former Captains And Cricket Experts

Former captains, Waqar Younis, Shaun Pollock, Anjum Chopra Michael Atherton, and Nasser Hussain will also be a part of the commentary panel calling the action from the commentary box. Ian Bishop and Ian Smith who called the famous 2019 semi-final will a slo be a part of the commentary panel for the tournament.

Cricket experts like Harsha Bhogle, Kass Naidoo, Mark Nicholas, Natalie Germanos, Mark Howard, and Ian Ward will add value to the game by sharing their own expertise about the game from the commentary box.

lastly, a host of former cricketers like Simon Doull, Mpumelelo Mbangwa, Sanjay Manjrekar, Katey Martin, Dinesh Karthik, Dirk Nannes, Samuel Badree, Athar Ali Khan and Russel Arnold will also call the action.

India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, England, and the Netherlands are 10 teams part of the ICC World Cup 2023. The ICC World Cup 2023 final will take place on November 19. The tournament starts on October 5.

ICC World Cup 2023 will be played in a round-robin format. Hence, each team will face the other team once during the league stage. A total of 48 games will take place among 10 teams during ICC World Cup 2023. The matches will be played across 10 venues around the country of India.
