Yusuf Pathan Predicts His Four Semi-Finalists For ICC World Cup 2023, Leaves Out New Zealand

Former Indian all-rounder Yusuf Pathan has named his four semi-finalists for the much-awaited ICC World Cup 2023, which is set to commence on October 5. Yusuf Pathan highlighted that he is anticipating some exciting cricket to be played in the tournament.
Australia have the most impressive record in the ODI World Cup, securing the title five times. India clinched victory twice, with their last triumph taking place in 2011. Defending champions England and Pakistan claimed the title in 2019 and 1992, respectively.
Some Exciting Cricket Ahead – Yusuf Pathan
With the World Cup just a few days away, Yusuf Pathan took to his social media handle, X (formerly known as Twitter), to reveal his top four teams for the event. Pathan predicted that India, England, Australia, and Pakistan would make it to the semi-finals.
“Watching this World Cup closely and backing our #TeamIndia ?? all the way! My top four picks for the semi finals are India, England, Australia, and Pakistan. Some exciting cricket ahead!,” he wrote.
India, Australia, and England advanced to the semi-finals in the last edition of the ODI World Cup, while Pakistan did not make it to the top four. Yusuf excluded New Zealand, who reached the final, from the list of contenders to make it to the semi-finals.

World Cup 2023 Set To Kick Off On October 5
A total of 48 matches, including the knockout matches, will be played across the 10 venues in the World Cup. Defending champions England and New Zealand will face each other in the tournament opener at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on October 5.
The final match of the marquee tournament will take place at the world’s largest stadium in Ahmedabad on Sunday, November 19. The two semi-final matches of the 10-team tournament will be held at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai and Eden Gardens in Kolkata.
