Bhuvneshwar Kumar Should Play For India Against New Zealand: Sreesanth

While speaking to Cricketaddictor in an exclusive chat, S Sreesanth was questioned whether Bhuvneshwar Kumar deserves a chance in India’s playing XI in the match against New Zealand. in response, the right-arm pacer was quite confident that Bhuvneshwar Kumar can pick wickets for the team against New Zealand and said that he should be part of the team.

“Yes of course. He (Bhuvneshwar Kumar) should be playing in the XI as his experience is going to help the Indian cricket team. If he can get the ball to move earlier, I am very confident he can get a lot of wickets. If not, at least one so it gets easier for the spinners. Especially for Varun Chakravarthy and Ravindra Jadeja as an all-rounder when he is playing in the XI. So I believe Bhuvneshwar should be given a chance once again”, Sreesanth said.

Sreesanth also mentioned that if the management wants a change, they can induct Ravichandran Ashwin as the 3rd spinner in the team. He said that R Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja, and Varun Chakravarthy bowling together will be brilliant.

“If there is a slight difference, if the team management wants to change then R Ashwin can come as a 3rd spinner. Especially with the UAE tracks getting slower and the run scoring is not that easy against the spinners. If Ashwin, Jadeja, and Varun Chakravarthy can bowl together, it will be brilliant. But as a fast bowler, as a good friend, I still believe Bhuvneshwar should be given one more opportunity and I am very confident he can get the new ball moving both ways and get the early wickets”, Sreesanth added.
