Meanwhile, several cricket pundits praised India’s decision to hand over the mentorship to one of the finest captains in the history of the game. Notably, MS Dhoni is the only Captain to win the big 3 ICC trophies. Dhoni as a captain has won ICC T20 World Cup 2007, ICC ODI World Cup 2011 and Champions Trophy 2013.

Meanwhile, India are one of the favourites to win the upcoming T20 World Cup 2021. The Men in blue are placed in the Group 2 of the tournament alongside Pakistan, New Zealand, and Afghanistan. Virat Kohli will be leading India in the marquee event and they will be starting their campaign with the high-profile battle against arch-rivals Pakistan. Under the leadership of Virat Kohli and the Mentorship of MS Dhoni, team India is expected to finally clinch a victory in the ICC tournament after 2013.
