T20 World Cup 2021: I Was Enjoying Bowling On This Track Today – Ravindra Jadeja After Winning Player Of The Match Award Against Scotland

All-rounder Ravindra Jadeja was awarded ‘ Player of the Match’ in the 37th game of ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2021 between Virat Kohli-led India National Cricket Team and Kyle Coetzer-led Scotland National Cricket Team at Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Friday, November 5.

India showed pure dominance in the match and won the game by 8 wickets and 81 balls remaining. Luckily Virat Kohli on his birthday won the toss and opted to bowl first and the bowlers did a sensational job by bundling Scotland at the score of 85.

Chasing the target openers Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul added 70 runs and Suryakumar Yadav finished off in style by smashing a six. Also after the one-sided victory, India now has a better run rate than both Afghanistan and New Zealand National Cricket Team.

The Odd Ball Was Turning, I Was Enjoying Very Much – Ravindra Jadeja

Spin bowling all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja bowled brilliantly in the match. He gave only 15 runs in his 4 overs spell and was able to bag 3 big wickets for the team.

During the post-match presentation, Jadeja told that he enjoyed a lot of bowling on the Dubai track and he was getting help from the surface. He said:

” I was enjoying bowling on this track today. The oddball was turning, I was enjoying very much. The first one was a special one, whenever you get a batsman out with a turning ball, that’s always special.”

Jadeja further added that Indian players knew that they had to win the game by a big margin to increase their net run rate and everybody gave 100% on the field. Ravindra Jadeja also believes that India will be an unstoppable force in the T20 Internationals games if they play like today in every game. He elaborated:

” We were looking to play good brand of cricket. Everybody knows that we had to win with a big margin for us to up our net run-rate, we were looking to play our best game and give our 100% on the field. Everybody’s happy, one more game to go, hopefully, we play like this. If we play like this, nobody can beat us. In T20 format, we have to play like this, that is for sure.”
