T20 World Cup 2021: Watch - Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan Check On Jan Frylinck After Pacer Falls Down In His Follow Through

Pakistan openers Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan showed good sportsmanship when they quickly reached to check on Namibia bowler Jan Frylinck, after the pacer had fallen down in his follow-through. The two teams clashed in their Super 12 encounter on Tuesday in Abu Dhabi.
On the second ball of Frylinck’s first over, the sixth of Pakistan’s innings, the left-arm seamer bowled a short delivery that Rizwan slapped straight to the mid-wicket fielder.
In the next frame, Frylinck was then seen down on the pitch, apparently in pain with his head down. Babar Azam, who was at the non-striker’s end, was the first one to go to the bowler and check on him, with other Namibian fielders, the umpire, and Rizwan coming in to attend to him as well.
Replay showed that the seamer had fallen in his follow through after delivering the ball. Fortunately, there was no injury to Frylinck as he got up and completed the over.

Pakistan openers start cautiously
Babar Azam won the toss and elected to bat first to test Pakistan’s batting strength. Babar Azam and his opening partner Mohammad Rizwan started off cautiously against in-form left-arm seamer Ruben Trumpelmann, who bowled a maiden first over.
The next two overs yielded only 6 runs before Babar Azam hit Pakistan’s first boundary in the fourth over. 10 runs came off the fifth over, bowled by JJ Smit, where Rizwan survived because of DRS, overturning the on-field umpire’s out decision with the ball pitching outside leg.
Jan Frylinck kept things tight in the sixth over, conceding only 6 runs as Pakistan ended the powerplay at 29/0.
