Ireland take on Australia in match 31 of the ICC T20 World Cup 2022 on October 31 at The Gabba in Brisbane. The side is placed third in the Group 1 points table with three points and interestingly above Australia. Ireland earned a memorable win against England and their previous match against Afghanistan was abandoned due to rain.

The side made it through the qualifiers having beaten Scotland and West Indies. They lost their first game against Sri Lanka before winning the game against England. Their win against England will go down as one of the most memorable wins in the T20 World Cups. They certainly would like to challenge Australia as well in their upcoming game.
