Pakistan takes on England in the ICC T20 World Cup 2022 final in Melbourne on November 13. The final is a rematch of the 1992 World Cup final which was also played between the two teams 30 years ago. The Men in Green won that final and there is a possibility of history repeating itself.

As far as head-to-head in T20Is is concerned, England and Pakistan have faced each other in 28 T20Is. Out of those games, England have won 18 whereas Pakistan have won on 9 occasions. 1 match ended without a result. In T20 World Cups, England have won both the matches they played against Pakistan.

However, the finalists have momentum on their side after beating New Zealand in the semi-final by seven wickets. Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan finally got runs as everything else fell into place. Pakistan did ride their luck with South Africa losing to the Netherlands and have not looked back since.

There are no injury concerns in the Pakistan camp as opposed to the England camp. They are likely to play the same side that played against New Zealand in the semi-final.
