Pakistan Cricket Team suffered a heart-wrenching loss against Zimbabwe. The Men in Green would be utterly disappointed as now their hopes of making it to Semi Final are very slim. Skipper Babar Azam would be wondering how the batters failed to chase 131 runs.
Zimbabwe, on the other hand, would be pumped up as they made a statement to the World Cricket that they are not done yet. Due to this win, Zimbabwe now has a solid chance to make an entry into the Semi Final as they have got 3 points from 2 matches.

Babar Azam on Defeat
Babar Azam was seen in the post-match presentation and was asked about the match. “To be honest, we are not up to the mark in all three departments. It’s very hard as a team and as a captain. I don’t think so, because this pitch required fast bowlers, so we have that planning, so we have extra fast bowler,” said Babar.

“When me and Rizwan got out, then Shan (Masood) and Shadab (Khan) built a partnership. But after Shadab got out, we had a collapse, and we did not finish well,” he added.
Pakistan in Deep Trouble
The Men in Green wouldn’t have thought that their campaign would reach at this stage. Even if Pakistan wins the next 3 matches, then also they are not assured of getting a semi-final berth as their fate lies in others’ hands. The duo Babar and Rizwan need to bat as deep as possible as the rest of the batting lineup is performing according to its credentials.

Head Coach Saqlain Mushtaq needs to pull a rabbit out of the hat as making a comeback after such a performance is a tough task. The batters need to make sure that they are rotating strike on a consistent basis as every-time smashing boundaries is not easy.
