England Cricket Team would be over the moon after winning T20 World Cup 2022. The team showed great fighting spirit as their defeat against Ireland proved to be a wake-up call. Sam Curran was named the man of the tournament where he took 13 wickets in 6 matches
Ben Stokes’ magnificent knock of 52 runs in 49 balls in the final was one of the finest in the T20 World Cups. The peculiarity of his innings was that he didn’t panic even after playing a string of dot balls. The left-handed batter showed great application as scoring runs was not easy against a powerful Pakistani bowling attack.

The dynamic all-rounder Sam Curran now is in the 5th position in ICC Men’s T20I Rankings. The Cricketer was not only the player of the tournament but he was also the player of the match. It won’t be wrong to say that England has found a diamond of a player who can contribute in all the departments of the game.
The 22-year-old all-rounder would be keen on working with his batting prowess. With a lot of ICC events aligned next, Curran can be the X factor for the team. ECB will have to make sure that they are managing his workload.

Adil Rashid, the witty leg spinner now is at the No.3 position in ICC Men’s T20I Bowlers Rankings. The leg spinner’s peculiarity was that he was economical in his spells. He made sure that the boundaries are dried where the skipper Jos Buttler was rotating the bowlers quite smartly.
