A total of 16 teams are part of the ICC T20 World Cup 2022. New Zealand, Australia, England, Afghanistan, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and South Africa are the 8 teams that have already qualified for the super 12 round. 4 more teams will join these 8 teams in the super 12 round.

Ahead of the super 12 round, the qualifier round will take place in T20 World Cup 2022. During the qualifier round, 8 teams will battle against each other. Out of these, 4 teams will bag a place in the super 12 round. Sri Lanka, Namibia, UAE, West Indies, Scotland, and Ireland are part of the qualifier round. 2 more teams will join them later.

A total of 12 teams will be part of the super 12 round of T20 World Cup 2022. These teams are divided into 2 groups of 1 and 2. In group 1, there are teams like England, Australia, New Zealand, and Afghanistan. 2 more teams will join this group later. In group 2, there are teams like India, Pakistan, South Africa, and Bangladesh. Two more teams will join the group later.

Australia is the host of the T20 World Cup 2022.
