IND vs SA - Twitter Reacts As Suryakumar Yadav’s 68 Single-Handedly Takes India To 133/9 Against South Africa In T20 World Cup 2022 Match

Suryakumar Yadav played lone innings as India scored against South Africa in their third match of the ICC T20 World cup 2022 match which was played in Perth on October 30, 2022. India came into this match after winning both of their first two matches against Pakistan and the Netherlands, while South Africa came after beating Bangladesh.
This match is extremely important for both the teams where India winning here will ensure them of a semifinals spot, while South Africa winning here will make life difficult for Pakistan who registered their first win of the T20 World Cup 2022 earlier in the day against the Netherlands after losing to India and Zimbabwe.
India has won its first two matches against Pakistan and the Netherlands with both wins giving them 4 points from 2 matches captain Rohit Sharma did nothing wrong as he won the toss and chose to bat first on a Perth pitch which has generated some great bounce for pacers.
India made one change as left-arm spinner Axar Patel was replaced in the XI by Deepak Hooda, while South Africa brought in an extra pacer in Lungi Ngidi for Tabraiz Shamsi.

Lungi Ngidi destroyed the Indian top order as he removed Rohit Sharma for 15, KL Rahul made 9, Virat Kohli scored 12 and Hardik Pandya made 2 runs before all of them fell to the Proteas pacer. India was left 49/5 when Suryakumar Yadav took control of the innings.
Suryakumar Yadav Makes 68 Runs Including 3 Sixes
Suryakumar Yadav hit a special knock taking both pacers and spinners to the cleaners as he hit 3 sixes and 6 fours in his 39-ball knock. He made an amazing 68 runs before falling to Wayne Parnell in the 19th over trying to hit the ball to the boundary.
Dinesh Karthik tried to stay there with him, but got out for four runs as India finished their 20 overs for 133/9. Lungi Ngidi took 4/29, while Wayne Parnell took 3/15 in his 4 overs for South Africa.

However, Twitterverse was all praises for Suryakumar Yadav, as his half-century was the only shining part of an otherwise sad Indian innings.

Without SKY’s sensational knock, India were sunk. Now there’s some hope if the bowlers strike a couple of blows in the Powerplay
— Cricketwallah (@cricketwallah) October 30, 2022
One of the knock for the ages from Sky. If India bowl well, they have an outside chance and if not for anyone, should do it for this man who has saved the blushes for the side too often.
Played Surya.
