IND vs BAN: "Don't Expect Consistency From Rishabh Pant"- Kris Srikkanth

Indian Cricket Team got a reality check against South Africa. The Men in Blue was outplayed by the mighty Proteas and it looked as if the Indian batters weren’t ready for a steep challenge. Surprisingly, India didn’t include Rishabh Pant in the playing 11 as he is someone who can change the dynamics of the match.
South Africa on the other hand, would be ecstatic as the team didn’t panic in tough situations. There was an early wobble and it looked like once again South Africa will throw the match. The duo David Miller and Aiden Markram played smart cricket and grabbed the opportunities.
Kris Srikkanth Rishabh Pant
Former Selector Kris Srikkanth was seen interacting with Star Sports and was asked about Rishabh Pant. “I think Rishabh Pant is a potential match-winner. Pant is a kind of a player, don’t expect consistency from Pant. Even in 10 innings, if he can play 3 knocks, he can win you 3 matches single-handedly,” said Kris Srikkanth.
Rishabh Pant Invaluable
The left-handed batter would be disappointed after not getting a place against South Africa. Pant is the only left-handed batter present in the squad who can surprise the opposition with his aggressive brand of cricket. He can get a chance against Bangladesh as Bangladesh’s arsenal is spin and Pant can decimate the spinners.
Head Coach Rahul Dravid would be well aware of the fact that they can’t take Bangladesh lightly by any means. In the 2016 T20 WC, Bangladesh almost pulled off a heist. It would be interesting to see whether India’s playing with the same lineup as Hardik Pandya wasn’t that effective.
