Indian Cricket Team was completely outdone by the mighty South Africans. The Men in Blue weren’t able to handle the pace and bounce at the Perth Stadium. India had lost 5 wickets inside 10 overs and it looked as if South Africa would bundle out India for a mere score.

Skipper Temba Bavuma was bang-on with his captaincy as he rotated the bowlers smartly. The decision to include Lungi Ngidi in the playing 11 proved to be a turning point as the pacer took 4 wickets for 29 runs and was quite disciplined with his line and length.

Michael Vaughan on India

The former England Captain made an interesting tweet on Indian Cricket Team. “South Africa immense .. the first over set the tone .. it’s surprises how India sometimes start with such little intent to be really aggressive with the bat in T20 .. #ICCT20WorldCup2022,” said Vaughan.

South Africa on a Roll

The Proteas would be ecstatic as this victory has meant that they have a golden chance of being the table toppers of Group 2. The team showed a lot of character and intent as the pitch was bowling-friendly. David Miller and Aiden Markram were calm and composed as the batters had a clear game plan.

The Proteas would be well aware of the fact that they can’t get complacent. The team knows that they have got a stern challenge coming up on 3rd November (Thursday) in the form of Pakistan. Pakistan would be keen to drag South Africa down as they have a very thin chance of qualifying for the Semi-Finals.
