Pakistan Cricket Team has got a huge blow ahead of the India match. The dashing left-handed batter Fakhar Zaman has been ruled out of the high-voltage clash. It was assumed that the batter would bat at the No.3 position and provide stability to the middle order.

The Men in Green would be dejected as Fakhar would have provided the impetus to the team. It would be interesting to see who replaces Fakhar at the last moment. India on the other side would be relieved as the left-handed batter could have inflicted a lot of damage.

Pakistan Skipper Babar Azam gave an update on Fakhar Zaman. “Fakhar is not fully fit yet, he will take a few more days so he is not available tomorrow. Shan has fully recovered and fully fit and has cleared his tests,” said Babar.

PCB released a statement on Shan Masood’s injury. “All of Shan Masood’s neurological observations are normal. His CT scan only shows superficial bruising where the ball struck him.

Conundrum for Pakistan

The management would be worried as tweaking the combination in a high-octane clash can be risky. Shan Masood hasn’t been quite effective with the bat in his short career. This may be because he is not used to batting at No, the 3 position as he has opened the innings in PSL.

Head Coach Saqlain Mushtaq and Skipper Babar Azam will have to pull a rabbit out of the hat; as defeating India this time won’t be easy. India this time looks like a formidable team as their recently adopted fearless approach has been quite fruitful.
