Both teams are in excellent shape and appear to be formidable this time around. India-Pakistan matchups have historically been close, as evidenced by their most recent Asia Cup matches.

According to Kohli, he adores these kinds of game-related moments, adding: “The same was at Mohali in the World Cup. There’s a different atmosphere that’s built during World Cup matches.

“It’s a different feeling, and you can sense that build-up, you know there’s this nervousness in the area, anticipation, and everyone’s buzzing. I love those moments. It’s these moments that are part of the whole experience. You play to live these moments.”

All eyes will be on the weather in Melbourne ahead of the game. Since Saturday night, the sky has been partly cloudy but dry. The full match between India and Pakistan is expected to be shown to fans.
