Indian Cricket Team is on a roll at the moment after winning a thrilling encounter against Bangladesh. The team is looking like a formidable unit and has started to peak at the right time. The Men in Blue would be hoping to keep the winning run continue as momentum is everything.

The management though would be worried as the batting unit is over-dependent on Virat Kohli. The former, skipper Virat Kohli has struck 3 half-centuries in 4 matches and it won’t be wrong to say that he is in the form of his life; but he won’t bail out the team every time.

Irfan Pathan was seen interacting with Star Sports and was asked about India vs Zimbabwe Clash. “You don’t deserve to go to the semi-finals if you lose to Zimbabwe. This Zimbabwe team, who still have a good bowling lineup but the batting is not that strong, you want to beat them comprehensively.” said Irfan Pathan.

“We saw the match against Bangladesh, it was a close match. If it hadn’t rained, the momentum might have gone towards Bangladesh and they might have won. So every game is important.” he added.

Critical Match for India

The Men in Blue would be well aware of the fact that Zimbabwe would be fearless in the approach. Head Coach Rahul Dravid and Skipper Rohit Sharma would be aiming for a thumping win rather than a close finish.

All eyes would be on Sikandar Raza, as the dynamic all-rounder has the ability to single-handedly change the dynamics of the match. Zimbabwe would be hoping to end the tournament on a high note and we should not forget that they have got senior batters present in the form of Sean Williams and Craig Ervine who can spring a surprise.
