The super 12 round begins on October 22 with the first match between Australia and New Zealand- the finalists of last year’s T20 World Cup. The ICC T20 World Cup 2022 final will be played on November 13.

Australia is the host and venue of the ICC T20 World Cup 2022. Hence, all the matches will take place at different stadiums spread across Australia. Australia is also the defending champions of the tournament who defeated New Zealand in the last year’s T20 World Cup final.

India will play their opening game on October 23 against Pakistan. The IND vs PAK clash will be played at Melbourne Cricket Stadium. A total of 45 matches will take place during ICC T20 World Cup 2022. A total of 16 teams are part of the tournament.

There are a total of 16 teams in the ICC T20 World Cup 2022. They are Sri Lanka, Namibia, UAE, West Indies, Netherlands, Ireland, Zimbabwe, Scotland, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, South Africa, England, New Zealand, Afghanistan, and Australia.

There are 4 groups in the tournament. In the qualifier round, there are two groups- A and B. In the super 12 round, there are 2 groups- 1 and 2. In group A, there is Sri Lanka, Namibia, UAE, and the Netherlands. In Group B, there is West Indies, Zimbabwe, Ireland, and Scotland.

Fans who want to buy tickets for ICC T20 World Cup 2022 matches can visit the website www.icct20worldcup.com. In the tickets section on the top, they will find the option to book match tickets for the tournament.

Fans need to sign up for the ICC T20 World Cup ticketing account on the website by submitting the required information. Later, they can choose the respective matches for which they want to buy tickets. Buyers can opt for a mobile ticket or print-at-home ticket options ahead of the payment.

Those who opt for a ‘mobile ticket’ will get a soft copy of the ticket which they need to show at the stadium. Those who opt for the ‘print-at-home’ option will get a PDF file of the ticket and will need to print the ticket and bring it to the stadium.
