Senior Indian pace bowler Jhulan Goswami once again notched up her name in the records books as she achieved 250 wickets in One-Day International cricket on Wednesday. The 39-year-old became the first bowler in the history of women’s cricket to reach the milestone.

Former Australian pacer Cathryn Fitzpatrick and West Indies current vice-captain Anisa Mohammed are placed second and third on the list with each claiming 180 wickets in the 50-over format.

Jhulan Goswami picked England’s Tammy Beaumont as her 250th ODI wicket

Goswami trapped England opener Tammy Beaumont in front of the stumps to claim her as the 250th dismissal of her illustrious ODI career, she bowled a nip-backer, pitched just outside off and shaped back into the batter, who went forward to push but the ball hit her front-pad first.
