Ahead of the IND vs AUS 2nd ODI, India’s stand-in captain KL Rahul felicitated Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association (MPCA) for installing 376 solar panels in Holkar Stadium in Indore. As a green initiative, MPCA installed solar panels inside the stadium to save energy and reduce carbon emissions.
IND vs AUS 2nd ODI takes place at Holkar Cricket Stadium in Indore. Indian skipper KL Rahul won the toss and opted to bat first. India leads the series 1-0 after winning the opening game by 5 wickets.
KL Rahul Felicitates MPCA For Installing Solar Panels Inside Holkar Stadium
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) shared a post on X (formerly Twitter) to congratulate MPCA for their green initiative. In the tweet, BCCI revealed that the 376 solar panels inside Holkar Stadium will reduce 277 tonnes of carbon emissions every year.

Meanwhile, Team India got off to a brilliant start in IND vs AUS 2nd ODI in Indore. India lost opener Ruturaj Gaikwad (8) cheaply in the 4th over. However, Shubman Gill and Shreyas Iyer slammed unbeaten half-centuries to lead the team to an awesome start.

In 25 overs, India reached 187-1 with Iyer and Gill unbeaten on the crease. Both batters have crossed the 80-run mark and are on the way to smash centuries. Earlier, the match was halted after 10 over due to rain. However, it resumed after a short break.

India has made one change to their playing XI from the 1st ODI. Jasprit Bumrah was rested due to personal reasons and Prasidh Krishna replaced him in the playing XI. India leads the three-match series 1-0.
