Dhruv Jurel has not taken long to impress with his batting and wicketkeeping in international cricket. The 22-year-old was a shock inclusion in the India Test squad for the ongoing five-match Test series against England and he has grabbed the opportunity with both hands.

He earned his maiden call-up from the Indian team for the series and finally made his Test debut in the ongoing third Test in Rajkot. With KS Bharat failing to impress in the first two Tests, the team management pinned its hopes on Dhruv Jurel and he has not disappointed them so far.

With the bat, he played a fine knock of 46 runs with the help of two fours and three sixes to help Team India cross the 400-run mark. After impressing with the bat, Dhruv Jurel impressed with his wicketkeeping as well. While he managed to register just one dismissal in the first innings, his wicketkeeping was absolutely brilliant. He made a number of good saves behind the stumps and looked absolutely nerveless.
